Carmex Review

This post brought to you by Carmex®. All opinions are 100% mine.

This is the time of year that's rough on my hands and feet. The dry, itchy skin mostly across my knuckles and the heels of my feet are so frustrating. I'm always looking for a new and improved lotion to soothe and heal and smooth my skin back to what its like the rest of the year!

For over 70 years Carmex has been healing lips with their soothing lip balms and now they have ventured into skin care. They have come out with two new products: Carmex® Healing Lotion and Carmex® Healing Cream They both have a light, neutral scent ... slightly reminiscent of the Carmex lip balm. They are both also non-greasy and absorb easily into the skin. I like a lotion that doesn't make me feel like I need to keep rubbing it in my skin 5 minutes later. The soothing lotion heals and protects dry skin and the healing cream helps repair the driest, roughest skin.

Each of the new products cost $5.99 and can be found at Walgreens and Drugstore.com.

I've been using the lotion on my hands and the cream on my feet. So far, so good! Joe has been using it on his hands too and said he's noticed it helping with the dry patches. Now if I could just remember to use the cream on my feet every day I think my skin will return to that smooth feeling!

I didn't know about the other stuff, but I've been addicted to their lip balm for more than 2 decades. :-)

Michelle - you know I love all your posts - but I just had to second this one - if there was a 'like' button in blogland - I LOVE carmex - and so do many of my friends... tragic really - but such good stuff!

My husband is a chef and washes his hands ALL THE TIME! He uses Aveeno Diaper rash creme on his hands (in the winter time) and it works wonderfully! I will let him know about this stuff....he won't have to smell like a baby's bottom then. :-)
