I'm so very connected to this vast military community. Not only as a military spouse, but as a former 'military brat.' I think about all the connections I have to someone in the military. I'm the daughter, granddaughter, step-daughter, daughter-in-law, granddaughter-in-law, niece, cousin, sister, sister-in-law, wife, and friend of many veterans. I'm proud to belong to this military community. Proud to stand side-by-side with some of the best military families I know.
Happy Veteran's Day to all who are serving, or who have served ... whether you served for 4 yrs, or 24 yrs, thank you for your service. Thank you for your sacrifice. I salute you.

Michelle, you make your sacrifices too. You deserve your own salute. :-) What a beautiful post.
Loved your video. Made me cry. :)
I fully agree with your post. I was not brought up in a military family, my dad served his 4 years and got out, but I have many friends who are serving or who did serve. What an amazing sacrifice.
Our flag is on the front porch, flying proud today!
