5 Minutes For Mom has a couple of wonderful contests with some great prizes going on right now.
The first is the Blogs Can Change Lives HP Mini Giveaway - this time the nominations are for any deployed military member who could use a new laptop but doesn't have the financial resources to purchase one. The HP Mini 1000 is less than an inch thick and weighs just over 2 lbs- a perfect size for someone who is deploying to travel with this laptop and be able to stay connected to family back home.
Even though Joe is deployed I am not nominating our family, nor am I asking for anyone else to nominate us. As much as I would love a new laptop this contest is for the deployed military member and Joe does have a laptop of his own with him.
I just wanted to spread the word about this contest because I think it's a wonderful opportunity for a military family who can't afford to buy a laptop to possibly win one. So if you know of a military family going through a deployment and it would be a financial hardship to buy a laptop, please consider nominating that family.
The other contest is Father's Day HP MediaSmart Server Giveaway - Father's Day is right around the corner and I have no idea what to get Joe, but maybe I'll get lucky and win this! Although we both know it would be more for me then for him, because I have all those thousands of digital pictures to store! :)

We found the dot markers at a local teachers supply store, they are a favorite with Junior because they are easy for him to hold onto.
