Something For Parker

I know that a lot of you who read my blog also read Tammy and Parker's blog.

And if you do then you know Parker has an upcoming surgery. One of many surgeries he's endured in his short life already. More than any one kid should have to go through.

If you read their blog then you also know their insurance absolutely sucks, to put it bluntly.

I've been wanting to do something to help them out with expenses...even if it's just enough to help with gas to and from the hospital and other appointments - especially with gas prices the way they are right now.

So I decided to have a "toyraiser" for Parker. I'm a consultant with Discovery Toys and I would like to donate my commissions to Tammy and Parker.

Parker's next surgery is scheduled for May 16 (which is also my dear husband's birthday, so I'm guessing this is a good date for a successful surgery!) I'll donate commissions from any sales from now until May 10th (so I have time to send them the funds before his surgery).

You can shop at my online store ... and check out the great Spring Break Sale - 50% off select items until Apr 26th. If you don't have a need for any toys, books, board games, or music CDs right now you might consider purchasing something fun and educational for Parker to have while he recovers from his latest surgery.

If you feel like spreading the word on your own blogs that would be great!

Above anything else though, please keep Parker in your prayers for his upcoming surgery. Thanks!

What your doing is amazing! I don't have kiddos yet but I'd love to buy something for my niece and nephew. My niece is 3 years old and my nephew is 5 years old, can you recommend anything that you like? I'd like to get something for each of them.

Thanks for letting me know your toy fundraiser was still going on! I found two of the birthday presents I was needing to pick up this summer -- so great that I was able to get some shopping done AND contribute to a spectacular kiddo's needs :) Thanks again for doing this!
