Grains of Gratitude

1. I'm grateful we (ahem, I) finally got our taxes done! I don't know why, but every year we end waiting till the last minute to file our taxes. If we owed I could understand, but we don't, we get a refund...we just procrastinate. For weeks I'll say to Joe, "we really need to do our taxes." and he'll respond, "I know." and nothing happens...we just don't make, or find, the time to sit down and get it done. I finally did them this week and am glad that's over with!

2. I'm grateful spring break is over! I think Kayla's ready to go back to school too. Monday was the only day we could go outside and play; the rest of the week we've had really high winds so we couldn't go to the playground. I did have a Steering (MOPS) meeting on Wed so at least Kayla was able to play with the other kids there.

3. I'm grateful Terry sent us a big box of Noah's clothes for Lucas! Thanks so much Terry...we really do appreciate it!

4. I'm grateful for the Kid's Club on Friday night - free pizza and crafts. Kayla had fun painting and just running around. I'm grateful for not having to cook!

5. I'm grateful for the free Kids Day at the Zoo yesterday and for the decent weather. It wasn't too hot or to windy; which made for a nice family outing.

Have a great week!

I love hand me downs too. I get a lot from my sister and Alysa gets almost all of her clothes from Kayla. :)

Hooray for the taxes - I called my accountant and she LAUGHED at me!
I am sad the weather didn't cooperate for spring break - sad!

I'm slow in keeping up, but wanted to thank you for sharing about that book. It looks wonderful and I'm going to go put it in my Amazon basket. I have a gift card and this looks like a good gift for me. :-)

Blessings,
Leslie
