Fashion Tips by Kayla

Kayla would like to share with you the latest in fashion:

Wearing your baby doll's dress as a hat. It's all the rage now you know.

If you look closely you can see the green streaks in her bangs. All the cool kids are doing it and you wouldn't want your kid to be left out now would you?

Having some green streaked throughout the ponytail is encouraged as well.

To maintain that youthful appearance you must give yourself an oatmeal facial. (What possessed this child of mine to smear her face with oatmeal I'll never know! I assure you, she does know how to get the food in her mouth!)

What could be better than a facial that you can eat too? Because oatmeal is good for your body, on the outside, and the inside.

Hi! I am a friend of Sarah. I came across your site threw hers. I just read your posting titled "Hope and Normalcy". Great post! I totally understand what you mean by what normalcy is. I had a "normal" childhood that was just a bit different in some ways as my older brother has cerebral palsy and my younger sister is autistic. Thay are both wonderful people and innocent forever. What a blessing! You have a beautiful little girl. She's blessed to have you as a mom. :)

That was too cute! I love it! You know, I'm not kidding at all when I say this- Rhiannon had her hair streaked with green just last week. Of course she did it for her school end of year festival, not just to be trendy although I'm sure she'd be glad to hear that she fit in with the current trend! Nate's hair was red... Hahaha!! I love you, Kayla! You make oatmeal facials look great!!

Looking good. The Boy is missing all of the hair on the front of his head right now, which is probably really fashionable, too.

And we girls are nothing if not fashion conscious!!! I think it is terrific that you capture all these moments on film. Some day you are going to look back at these with her and just have a great time. I did that with my mom just the other day.

I loved all the narratives you put with each picture!! What a "hoot" You and Joe have a daughter who is just hysterical!! she has such a "sense of humor" and is such a "character" :) I laughed!!!! Each picture showed Kayla with not a care in the world, just enjoying the "moment" with her imagination and being a 3 1/2 yr old!! :) What was she using to paint her hair green with.... I am so glad you posted these pictures because it was just what I needed after a terrible afternoon I had on Wednesday......Love mom/grandma
