Bzz Agents (and other stuff!)

Time for some Bzz. I signed up with BzzAgent awhile ago. They rely on "word-of-mouth" campaigns from their "agents" to spread the word about various products and websites.

They'll send you free products to try and you let others know about the products, then you report back your "bzz." For instance, some of the products I've received to try (and keep!) have been Hershey's Take5 candy bars (about 20 bars to pass out to people), Scrubbing Bubbles Automatic Shower Cleaner, Ziploc Twist containers, Sonic electronic toothbrush (those cost about $50-60 and I got it for free!) books, free trial to Carbonite and a few other things.

You earn points for the surveys you take and the bzz you report back. They don't have a lot of prizes that you can get (from what I can tell), but I did earn enough to get the game Taboo. I just enjoy getting free products to try out!

If you live in the USA or Canada you can sign up for this program at BzzAgent.

They have just started accepting new members who live in the UK to participate as well. So if you like to receive free products to try out, and you live in the UK, just click here BzzAgent UK.

I'm not doing this for referrals (or earning points) either...neither of those links contain any referral number or userID to sign up under me - I just thought maybe some people would be interested is all!

In other news: Overwhelmed With Joy is offering a book giveaway. She has 2 books she is giving away so go on over and leave a comment to be entered in her drawing!

I just found out about this program Cell Phones For Soldiers from Beth of I Should Be Folding Laundry. You can send in your old cell phones and the funds from the recycled phones go towards purchasing calling cards for the troops overseas. What a great program!

You are like the Queen of Free Stuff! I love it. I have gotten more samples in the mail the last few weeks from freebie Friday (a lot of stuff I really liked and plan on using) :)

Ahhh, neat! I went and joined! I love things like that. I used to be a *secret shopper* and that was so much fun. :o)

Thanks for the cell phone info, too. We're getting ready to end out alltel contracts and now I know what to do with both of our extra phones! :o)

I love the cell phone program. What a great way to help. Also enjoyed your pg test story! I did my first one in a bathroom at my grandmother's house, oddly enough, as we were visiting there. We both looked at the stick. Pink line!

That is very interesting--I didn't know there was such a thing--I might just look into it! How do people find out all this stuff??

Hey, that sounds too cool. Think I will sign up as well...sounds like fun. How is New Mexico today? I HOPE we will be coming in the fall. I would like to do a tour of the state...Cimmarron (where Philmont Scout Camp is...and we have been), then to 4 corners, then to the boot heel and then back to Albuquerque. My in-laws lived there for years and we haven't been since they died. I love the state.

Yes, it is beautiful here in Tennessee, and we are hoping for lots of green and perhaps Roan Mountain will be in bloom.

Stay tuned!!

Love to the 3 of you!

Thanks for the info Michelle. We changed to an electronic toothbrush in January. They are pricey. That's awesome you got it for free. I love getting things in the mail and even better when it's free. ;) I'll have to check out their site.

That sounds like a fun company to be involved with! Who doesn't like free new stuff?!
That cell phone to calling cards program is a great idea - if my kids weren't "using" our old cell phones to play with I would totally have done that. Hope you are having a good day!
