Guess who we had dinner with tonight?

Last July this blogger was in my neighborhood and we were able to get together for dinner and then hang out again the next day. She's back here on a business trip and we met up for dinner tonight. Yep, it's Overwhelmed! She's only here for a short time and tonight was the only chance we had to get together. We met for dinner at the Community Center (on base) where they have Oasis Pizza and we all ordered a calzone then took our food upstairs to eat so Kayla could run around and play in the KidZone (because Kayla and restaurants don't go hand-in-hand!). So this worked out great! We got to spend about an hour chatting and just catching up.

and Kayla enjoyed being able to play and not having to sit down!

It was great seeing you again and we're looking forward to the next time you happen to be here on business!

How exciting that the two of you were able to get together! It's funny too that when I very first started blogging that Overwhelmed and you were the first two bloggers to make me feel welcomed to the world of bloggityville! Overwhelmed even went so much as to E-mail me and help with a question I had. lol "Birds of a feather flock together"! lol

How completely wonderful, Michelle. I love it when this happens. OW mentioned in a recent post that she was really hoping to connect with you while she was there.

Here's what I love. I love, love that this is the first time I've seen a photo of OW. Needless to say, I've visualized her forever but I had no idea what she looked like.

You're both so beautiful but I have to say that little girl in between you completely upstaged you both!

That's so much fun! My middle kid couldn't handle resturants until very, very recently, so Kayla is in good company!

Resturants and Nathaniel totally don't mix either. Can be very stressful so we just don't do it, unless we absolutely have too...Glad you had a nice visit :)

What a blessing! What fun! It would be so wonderful meeting some of you wonderful bloggers. Why don't you vacation in the Black Hills this year? Excellent notion, just excellent!

So, happy for you all!

How nice that you could get to meet. It looks like you had a really good time.
I enjoyed your post about your birth year. Mine would be "ancient history". I was 27 years old when all of that was taking place in your birth year. I had two small children and was living in New York. I remember those days well.
