- Print out a coupon for a free order of Wendy's new natural cut with sea salt fries.
For the first time in more than 40 years, Wendy’s revamped their fries with a natural “skin on” cut and seasoned with sea salt—the first fry of its kind to be offered by a national fast-food chain. The new fries incorporate a range of new ingredients and preparation methods to meet consumers’ demand for a better-tasting, higher-quality French fry. They are made 100% from Russet potatoes and sliced “natural-style” with the skin on for additional texture and taste, then cooked in proprietary oil that contains no allergens and has 0 grams trans fat per serving. They are finished with a dusting of natural sea salt to further enhance the flavor. (While it does say the fries are cooked in proprietary oil that has no allergens I haven't had a chance to ask if they are cooked in a dedicated fryer.) I received a Wendy's gift card to try their new fries and have to say they were really tasty. I like the 'skin on' variation. The texture was just the right amount of crispiness.

With Halloween over I start to think a little bit about preparing for Christmas. I start thinking of which picture to use for our photo cards, deciding on a photo card, and thinking about ordering photo gifts.

Right now Shutterfly has some great offers going on - 30% off on photo books and 20% off on cards and calendars. You can also get free shipping on orders $30 or more using code SHIP30  (Get one free 5x7 greeting card by using code CARD4U).

I am planning on ordering some photo books and calendars this year. With the photo books you can either chose the simple path where the book is instantly made for you, or chose the custom path and customize each page to how you want it to look. I like the options on the photo books so you can arrange the layouts for how many pictures per page and add captions. Great way to preserve some precious memories or a special event.Gifts with photos of the kids always go over well with the grandparents!

Looking through the Shutterfly website I see several Christmas and Holiday photo cards I'm going to have to decide between; I like designs like the Family Wall Red design because you can include several photographs on it...then I don't have such a hard time only picking out one or two favorite photos to use on the card! I typically purchase the Flat Photo Card, but I'm leaning more towards the Flat Stationary Cards this year.

If you're a blogger and would like to receive 50 free cards from Shutterfly (won't that come in handy for the  holidays!) just sign up here.
