Countdown to WDSD

March 21 is World Down Syndrome Day. The date, written as 3/21, was chosen because Down syndrome is 3 copies of the 21st chromosome.

Down Syndrome International is celebrating World Down Syndrome Day with their Lots of Socks campaign.

Gail Williamson, from Down Syndrome in Arts and Media is posting 21 Quotes in 21 Days from 21 People with Trisomy 21.

The International Down Syndrome Coalition for Life has a few special events planned leading  up to WDSD.

On Twitter use #WDSD.

Down Syndrome: The Big Picture exhibition is counting down to a 3/21 release.

The National Down Syndrome Society is celebrating with "Do Something Extra" and has a list of suggestions and ideas. (What a surprise it was to see a picture of Kayla on the bottom of that link!)
