Still Remembering ... Never Forgetting

Five years ago I wrote this post about 9/11 and where I was that day and what I remembered. And just like 5 years ago I'm wondering how did another 5 years seem to pass in the blink of an eye?

I don't think there is much more to say on this 10th anniversary that isn't already being thought, or said, or written.

My thoughts and prayers still go out to all those who lost someone on that awful day. That day that America was changed forever. That day that the NYC skyline changed. A seemingly simple date - 9/11 - that will forever carry a weighted meaning with it. A day that will never be forgotten.

And now a moment of silence to reflect on all that was lost and to never forget the courageous brave men and women who lost their lives.
