The Wedding, Part II

Here are some more pictures from the wedding. And a few 'hahaha' moments. Probably had to be there, but I want to record them so I don't forget!

My mom is an identical twin. We had just arrived to her hotel room. They had a 1-room suite so Kayla and Lucas were in the bedroom when my aunt knocked on the door. My mom answered the door. Aunt Debbie was standing in the hallway, with my mom a few feet behind her at the door. My mom called out to the kids, "Look who is here!" Kayla came running out of the bedroom, paused for the briefest of seconds, ran right past Aunt Debbie as if she wasn't even there and threw her arms around my mom yelling, "Aunt Debbie!!"

At the reception (which was understandably loud with the music) Lucas was trying to ask my aunt where the trash was. His enunciation sounds more like "crash/cwash." She kept saying she didn't know what he was saying and told him to ask Uncle Eric. After several tries Uncle Eric said he didn't understand either. Finally Lucas says, "It's like a garbage can!"

We drove in a limo on the way there and there was a shuttle bus to take us back to the hotel. Lucas asked if we were riding in the 'big car' again as we went to the parking lot. I pointed to the shuttle bus and said we were going in that. He said, "The big car turned into a big bus!"

(some of the pictures look a little blurry, but if you click on them they are clear).

The handsome groom!

My beautiful sister!

"Pi Love" is the 'sign' for the sorority that Kelly belonged to.

With my grandparents - married 60 years this year!

And they still got the moves for the dance floor!
