Natures Peak Giveaway

Contest is now closed, winners are Molly and Chrystal

We're big fruit eaters in this household; usually getting a serving at every meal. I try to keep frozen fruit so I can throw it in the blender for smoothies. Whenever the kids see the blender they say "shake!" and then Kayla tells Lucas "cover ears Lucas!"

I was recently sent two bags of Nature's Peak Premium Frozen Fruit to sample. Nature's Peak fruit is picked at the peak of ripeness and flash frozen to lock-in the wholesome goodness that is only found in vine ripened fruit. This process preserves the flavor, color and nutrients until it is ready to be consumed.

There is no added sugar so it's just as nutritious as fresh fruit.

There are 4 varieties of the Fruit Blend (Berry Quartet, Paradise Fruit Medley, Summer Fruit Salad, and Sun Ripened Trio) and 6 of the Single Fruit Variety (Aloha Gold Pineapple, Country Strawberries, Cranberry Harvest, Ruby Raspberries, Sunburst Mango, and Wild Blueberries)

I received Paradise Fruit Medley and Sunburst Mango (mangoes are one of my favorite fruits, but they sure are a pain to cut up!)

One of my favorite features is the bag is resealable; if you're not going to use the whole bag you can just take out what you need and reseal the bag for later use.

After the fruit blend thawed we ate some of it straight for a snack and all the pieces were really tasty, the only thing (and I've found this with all frozen fruit) is as it thaws it does get a little watery...and this was no different. The rest of the fruit I threw in the blender with some yogurt and we enjoyed a delicious smoothie.

With the mango pouch I received I plan on making this Strawberry Mango Smoothie. You can get more recipe ideas for smoothies, lite fare, desserts, and sides.

I have two coupons for a FREE bag of Nature's Peak for 2 readers. Check here for the stores that carry Nature's Peak.
