When Kayla woke up on Christmas morning she asked me, "Did Santa come?" Guess someone was excited! The kids had a great Christmas ... and I spent last night weeding through the toys so we can have some semblance of order in the playroom!
I don't think Kayla's taken her slippers off yet!
Kayla and I must have played Cariboo Island 10x yesterday!
Lucas likes his new Winnie the Pooh movie:
Elefun was a big hit with both kids, and it's a game they can just about set up and play by themselves...just the trunk is a little bit too long and Kayla can't quite get it to stand straight up. (I also find it annoying that all the butterflies don't shoot out):
Lucas couldn't wait to try his hand at the fire engine puzzle:
Celebrating Christmas the deployed way:
Kayla loves her microphone:
and some attempts at getting some family pics:
She wouldn't put the microphone down:
Hope everyone had a wonderful Christmas!

What sweet pictures -- and thank God for computers. It is a different age for deployment. I hope 2010 will see the whole family together again!
Such wonderful cute pictures! You are looking so good!! :)
I will have to look into that game for Aaron. Looks like something he could do.
What a wonderful Christmas!
I'm so glad you had a wonderful Christmas. Julianna got that microphone too, and she too loves it.
Our Elefun is also frustrating. *sigh*
I know you'll look forward to next Christmas when you're all together again.
I'm glad they were able to see their dad, even if only by computer! Looks like a fun Christmas!
My heart went out to you when I saw the picture of Joe via computer. *hugs* That has got to be hard on everyone!
But your kids are beautiful and the pictures are great. I am sad to hear the negative reviews of Elefun because Santa brought that for Gabe. We are just waiting on buying the batteries which I thought were double A's.
Anyway, I wish you lots of fun this holiday season! Merry Christmas and cheers to Joe coming home in 2010!♥
Looks like a great day! Merry Christmas!
Those are great pics! Merry Christmas to you all.
Looks like you all had a great day! Thank goodness for computers though so you were all able to see Joe!!

Those were adorable pictures and that is SO cool that he was able to be with you guys online!
Merry Christmas all of you! It looks as if it was as good as can be with Joe gone.
Thanks for sharing your Christmas! Glad you had such a wonderful day!
Lovely photoes. It must be hard not to all be together for Christmas. Kayla is looking so grown up! and clearly se has your eyes if that last photo is any indication. Merry Christmas.
what a wonderful day
Its so nice that technology nowdays allows families to see their daddies that are deployed. How cool for the kids! Looks like a great Christmas.
What great pictures. Looks like a wonderful Christmas. Happy New Year!
Looks like you all had a wonderful christmas. Love the pictures
Love the pictures, your children are adorable. You must be so strong to be doing the holidays while your husband is deployed. God Bless you and your family.
Lovely photos, fab gifts, awesome! You all look wonderful. Been thinking of you. Happy Christmas season, may 2010 be a year that brings joy to your heart in many ways!
totally awesome pictures! Looks like a fabulous Christmas, glad Joe could watch :)
looks like a great Christmas.
Gorgeous family. When does Daddy get home? I hope it is soon.
great pics!!! Gosh, you look young!!! What's your secret? Funny, Morgan got the Elfun game too. The trunk does not blow those stinkin butterflies out hard enough...but Morgan likes it!
As a teacher I was frustrated by our Elefun game, but it was nothing that a pair of scissors and a bit of a nose job could not fix. Once the trunk was shortened a bit it stood up better and all of the butterflies came out without difficulty. :)
