Yep we did! We met Sue and her daughters Kayla and Alysa.
Sue lives in NJ and our schedules finally coordinated for us to get together in Baltimore.
All the kids had such a fun time together. There is so much to do and see at Port Discovery, so many rooms to explore! I think my favorite room was The Oasis - a quiet hideaway room we went in last. A nice room to decompress in and not worry about the kids going off in all directions!
Kayla acted like a natural on the microphone performing for us:
Lucas just sat on this train for the longest time; I think he thought it was going to actually move :)
He just loves dragging a chair around:
Thanks for meeting us in Baltimore Sue! I'm so glad we were finally able to get together!

We had such a great time with you guys. The girls are still talking about Kayla and Lucas! They want to take pictures of our day there with them to school tomorrow to show their teachers. :)
That looks like a really fun place for the kids! I'm glad you were able to meet with a bloggy friend!
Hello!
I did not realize that you were in Maryland (not that we know each other or anything)...but I actually think we met each other today.
If you were at the Giant and some stranger said that your daughter was gorgeous and had great manners, then we did meet.
I *thought* I recognized you two from being a lurker on your blog, but I didn't want to unnerve you and say something like, ohmygod! I recognize you! If it wasn't you, then you and Kayla both have twins!!
Looks like you had a great day!!
What an excellent get-together.
Kayla and Lucas were certainly having fun.
What a fun looking place! The kids are looking so cute! We have one of those huge bubble making things at our discovery centre always a hit.
They are all so stinkin' cute! It looks like a wonderful time. If you ever come thru Cleveland... :)
I love children's museums! They never had that kind of thing when I was a kid... my mom had to drag us to the regular art museum and field museum when she wanted to take us someplace!
what a great time...and i have to say, kayla looks like she's finding her new career in drama...or public speaking? who knows, but she'll be with a mic, i'm sure.
How I wish I could take Parker out on grand adventures such as this!
What a fun trip! So glad you got to meet up with another blogger too. The kids are adorable as always and growing! :)
What fun! Port Discovery is a fun place (although Kayla spent most of the time there in the sensory baby/toddler room, LOL). We'll probably stop by there again when Kayla goes to KKI.
It looks like you had such a fun day! I don't have kids, but I keep all these ideas tucked away for the day when I do.
