Making new friends...we hadn't met Abbie's family yet, only through blogging, so this was the first time the girls played together and Kayla really had fun with Abbie. Here they were taking some quiet time to read books.

We were SO happy that you could make it! Thank you for making the trip out! It was so great after reading each others blogs for, what, a year now (?) to finally meet each other! One of my favorite moments was right in the beginning when Kayla wandered around handing out necklaces to all of the other fairies. SO sweet. We'll have to get together again when its calmer and we can actually hear each other and little brother can get down and play! Thanks for coming!

A fairy party? That is so cool! I wish I was a little kid so I could go to one! They have such cool things for kids now. When I was little, all I ever got invited to was birthday parties at McDonalds!

I thought our little guy would end up with my brown eyes and I was a bit bummed at first but now I am so glad he has such beautiful blue eyes as well. Glad we have connected.
