Ten!

Dear Lucas,

You are 10 months old today; how could you have outgrown that newborn stage so quickly!? Right before you turned 9 months you started taking some steps, now, you are a full-time walker. You very rarely crawl anymore, my baby is growing too fast!

You haven't met a piece of food you don't like yet! You love to eat, and have a bigger appetite than your sister! Grilled cheese sandwiches are a big hit for lunch...you just gobble that right up.

You take after your daddy in the electronics department...you seem to like anything with a cord attached! You still like to play with the computer mouse, bang on the laptop keyboard, walk around with the cordless/cell phones. Those are the things that interest you.

You love to play with balls...especially if they bounce around on the floor. That will keep you busy for awhile. Throwing the ball, watching it bounce around the kitchen floor, chasing after it, and starting over.

You also love to push anything around the floor that you can make slide. Especially cardboard boxes. You just push them all around the house going this way and that. It seems you instinctively know when the box won't go somewhere because you stop, back up, move the box around, and start pushing again.

3 words. Toilet paper roll. You actually discovered this a few months ago, but I forgot to mention it in one of my monthly letters. How fun it is to follow me in the bathroom and pull the toilet paper as quick as you can!

You raise your arms when we play the "so big!" game ... "How big is Lu-cas? So big!" Kayla loves playing that with you too.

You turned 10 months today and your sister and you have had your world turned upside down. We're in the middle of a cross-country move...which hasn't been easy...a lot of stress over this last week! Just a couple more weeks and hopefully we'll be all settled into our new living arrangement...and a new adventure over the next year.

Happy 10 months my little man!

Happy 10 Months, Lucas! I love hearing the updates and I hope one day I can say I have at least one good eater too, LOL!

Wishing you all the best in getting settled and enjoying the holidays.

How sweet! Toilet paper has always been a big hit with my girls too. Once when Kayla was sick, I gave a whole roll to Alysa b/c I felt bad for her being ignored. It made her day to tear the whole thing to shreds.

What a great picture of you both by the tree!

I was just catching up...I can just imagine how overwhelming trying do all the Christmas things AND move has to be...some years we just have to tell ourselves it's OK to let a lot of things go...it's what's in our hearts at Christmas anyway. Big (((hugs))) to you as you make this transition...
I am hoping you can relax and feel God's peace in the midst of all that's going around you today and tomorrow- Merry Christmas!

Merry Christmas! I hope you are having a good Christmas even with all of the stress of moving! I really felt for you reading about the movers coming and missing your MOPS meeting + all of the stress of trying to do it all!!! I can't imagine all you are going through with your move to MD... I will be thinking of you and your family and hoping you absolutely LOVE MD once you are settled!
