Baby Einstein

Did you know Baby Einstein has been around for 10 years now? Man I feel old! :)

In celebration of their 10 year anniversary they have released Special Editions DVDs of two of their most popular titles - Baby Mozart and Baby Beethoven.

At Baby Einstein, each DVD is designed to reinforce parent-child interaction by providing visually interesting, entertaining content that you and your baby can watch together. Whether the theme is art, music, or barnyard animals, each DVD offers an opportunity to cuddle, share, talk, or sing along with your baby.

We were able to receive Baby Mozart, along with the Touch & Feel Farm Animals board book and Lullaby Classics CD.

The DVD is engaging, fast-paced to keep a little one's attention, and the music soothing. Now Lucas didn't sit still watching the full 30-min program, but I think that's a good thing. I don't want a 9-month old couch potato :) He was playing in the living room and every few minutes he would stop to look at what was going on, and then go back to what he was playing with. The puppet shows were definitely his favorite parts though - he seemed really captivated by them and would smile whenever they were on.

The board book was a big hit - with both Kayla and Lucas. She likes reading the book to him by naming the animals and telling him what sound they make. She guides his hand to the "feel" part of the book and he seemed to enjoy touching the different textures.

Win it! I've got the Lullaby Classics CD to give away to one reader. Just go to Baby Einstein and tell me what product you like.

Baby Einstein is a huge hit on our house. Izzy LOVED watching it when she was a baby and now even as she gets older she finds new ways to interact with the videos.

I liked the Scoop Pour and Discover bath toy. I'd never seen that before and we are always looking for new bath toys.

Thanks so much for the awesome giveaways you have been hosting. I am so elated that I won the Pillsbury basket set! You seriously made my day. I've already emailed you my info.

Happy Holidays!

I'm going to have to pick the octoplush as my favorite. Logan just picked that out for Noah's Christmas present the other day - I think they're both going to really like playing with it :)

I happen to love all the little toddler hard books. They're a big hit with our little foster baby and they're wonderful for standing up to her unforgiving little hands.

Thanks for making me feel even older on the same day that I discovered a wrinkle in my forehead. Now all I need are some grey hairs popping up & I will be all set.

Pufferfish has never gotten into the Baby Einstein videos. She did like the Baby Genius sing-alongs... but not the versions with classical music, only the versions with kiddy songs! I guess she'll never be an einstein or a genius...
