Kayla's Kindergarten picture.
Too bad she's all hunched over like that; I wish someone would have told her to sit up straight. I'm guessing that she was sitting on a stool and maybe wasn't feeling too secure so she leaned over to hold on with her hands.
It looks like she's thinking to herself, "will you just take this picture and get it over with!"

I find school pictures to generally always be horrible. Thank goodness she's darling enough to make up for bad posing.

K- is kind of bent over in her picture too. I thought to myself, couldn't they have just straightened her up? It is an awesome picture, though so I really can't complain that much!
Come on mom.... she looks great. I think in the 12 years that I took school photos, there is really only about 3 that I didn't want to burn. But nonetheless, how exciting... her first school picture!

I bet you are right about the stool. One year, Gabi pulled her dress up to her head for a school picture. They did a retake right away. But since my mom worked at the school, they gave her a proof of it. I think I still have it in my wallet to this day. I'll have to post it soon!
Kayla is growing up so fast! I can't believe how much older she looks!
I like the uniqueness of it. Most school pictures they stand like little robots! She looks intensely interested to me!And beautiful!
She looks adorable. She really does. Almost looks like she posed leaning over like that on purpose. It's very cute. Having said that, I do hate it when I get school pics back of my kids where they didn't sit up straight, or their collar was turned inside out, or their hair needed to be combed. I mean I know the photographers just herd the kids in like cattle, but sheesh! the pics are soooo expensive; you'd think they'd take ONE SECOND to fix a collar or hand over a comb!!! ARRRGH!

I love it!! I love the randomness of school pictures. It looks like Kayla's aren't getting the most detail-oriented school photographers these days....Ecki recently posted a picture of her Kayla, which I think is PRECIOUS!!! :)
