Grains of Gratitude

What a week we had! I'm grateful we were able to get away for that week as a family (even though it was so hot in AZ!) We were able to relax (for the most part!) and hang out, go to the pool, take it easy, no schedules, no appointments, and just be together. I'm grateful we had a safe trip there and back. I'm grateful for being able to meet some fellow bloggers - Michelle, Overwhelmed, and Sandra.

Checking out the children's playground one evening; hoping it was a little cooler, but it wasn't by much!

Went to the McCormick-Stillman Railroad Park where we rode the carousel:

and took a train ride:

Rode the carousel again...and by then we were hot and wilted and ready to go back to our room with AC!

Went to Fountain Hills to see the world's tallest fountain - it shoots 560 feet in the air:

And now we've got a quick week ahead of us to recover from this trip and then head to Boston on Thur for the National Down Syndrome Congress Convention.

Sounds like a relaxing trip.

I wish I was going to Boston, but I'm not big on traveling far. I was only on a plane one time about 12 years ago(honeymoon).

If the convention is ever more local I will be there.

Hope you have a great time!

That boy is growing up a little too fast I think!

Have fun at the convention. Some day I'd love to attend. I'll have to find out when/where it is next year.

We LOVE the Railroad Park. We go everytime we are in town. Now that the girls are getting bigger, Izzy especially, loves the trains and the carosel!

We were just in Arizona last month and then spent some time in New Mexico. I really love New Mexico and wish we could do more there. It's probably one of my top favorite places to visit.

Glad you had a great time!
