Misslionheart tagged me for Monday Motivation Meme. The rules of the game are simple enough…just list 5 things you wish to achieve during the week ahead and hopefully get motivated!
1. Try can catch up with bloglines! As if that'll ever happen though...even if I get caught up tonight, tomorrow it starts all over with a whole slew of new posts LOL
2. Mail out some thank-you cards.
3. Write up the review of the Snikiddy snacks I received for The Opinionated Parent
4. Take Lucas to get his 2-month shots :(
5. Finish at least one scrapbook page! Maybe the half-finished one will even count!
Glo tagged me for this one:
What I was doing 10 yrs ago: 1998...that year brought many changes...I was living in CO at the time. I went through a divorce, found a place to live, and realized living on my own was actually quite nice!
Five things on my to do list for today: See meme above!
Things I would do if I were a billionaire: That's more money than I could even imagine! Definitely donate to a few charities, pay off our parents'/siblings' mortgages/debt, take a "dream vacation" - probably Australia, buy one of those luxury RVs so we can travel across the country, buy a home, and retire!
Three of my bad habits: procrastination, running late (which I guess would also fall under procrastination), impatient
Five places I have lived: Ramstein, Zweibrucken, Massachusetts, Maryland, New Jersey
Five jobs I have had: cart pusher, teller, cashier, outpatient records clerk, secretary
Five people I want to know more about:
Stephanie
Tricia
Heather
Stephanie
RK
And Debbie tagged me for 6 facts about myself.
1. When I was a toddler I somehow got my foot caught in the spokes of a bike and sprained my ankle...I had a little cast put on.
2. One time I was jumping from bed to bed in a hotel room (I was maybe around 5 or 6) and missed the bed and hit the railing. I had butterfly stitches in my forehead.
3. I once had had my thumb slammed in a bedroom door. I fractured the tip of my thumb in 3 places and they had to take my thumbnail off.
4. My teenage crush was Kirk Cameron from Growing Pains.
5. He was the only celebrity I sent a letter to; and it was worth it because I received a signed photo and short note back from him. (Ok it was a stock photo and a photocopied letter, but at 14 that was enough for me!
6. I used to collect unicorns when I was growing up; now I collect Willow Tree figurines.
Debbie also gave me an award. Thanks Debbie!
The rules for this award are:
1. You have to pick 5 blogs that you consider deserve this award for their creativity, design, interesting material, and also contributes to the blogging community, no matter what language.
2. Each award has to have the name of the author and also a link to his/her blog to be visited by everyone.
3. Each award winner has to show the award and put the name and link to the blog that has given her/him the award itself.
4. The award winner and the one who has given the prize have to show the link of Arte y Pico blog, so everyone will know the origin of this award.
5. To show these rules.
I'm passing this on to:
Melissa
Conny Wenk

You really do not seem like the unicorn type...I guess one can never tell :P hehehe
I didn't know you could fracture you thumb like that. Ouch!
Thanks for the award :)
Very interesting facts! I love learning more about bloggers I read. You sound like you gave your parents quite a few trips to the ER as a child :)
You sound like you were an ACTIVE kid!
Unicorns and Kirk Cameron, eh?
Unicorn's, eh? I would've never known.
Where do you find the time to participate in these memes, and do everything else that you do?! :)
Did you get my mailing address?
Thanks Michelle! I'll have to put my thinking cap on and get a post up. :o)
Thanks, Michelle! :) I will do this soon-ly!
This was fun to read through! I forgot to answer your offer of boy clothes, YES, I'll take whatever you're willing to pass on!
Love, Sarah
It was fun to learn more about you. Good luck with your five things to do this week!
You have been “tagged” for a “Six-Word Memoir.” Please visit my blog for the rules. I look forward to reading your memoir!
Blessings!
Nancy
(Sorry Michelle. I know you've been tagged but I want to read your memoir)
So nice to learn more about you and love all the new photos of Kayla and Luke. Hugs!
Hey Michelle, I have all but quit blogging lately due to some major life changes, so having a few minutes I wanted to catch up! I miss you! I loved your meme; it's always so fun to find out more about somebody. But I couldn't help but giggle that your first three "about me's" were injuries...made me wonder if you're thinking about Lucas crawling and all he'll be getting into already. :0) He's growing up fast - time for those dreaded shots already. I hope it goes well.
Wow you sure got a lot of catching up in that post. :) I have not forgotten about your question about the butterfly pavilion but I don't know just yet. I'm planning to go to the zoo this weekend and I'm going to ask when we stop at the gardens.
OH, I had to re-read the post to remember what I wanted to tell you, but I got to spend a whole DAY once with (O.K., near) Kirk Cameron! And yes, he was as nice and as cute in person. After that trip (me and 2 other girls in a drill team competition he helped judge) the WHOLE SCHOOL had a crush on him. I also liked Ricky Schroeder from Silver Spoons!
Hi. I found your blog through someone elses... Your daughter is so adorable. maybe when she's older my Zach can take her on date!
;)
I just started a blog for my son, Zach. come visit. I put you on my links to visit. i hope you don't mind.
Hi Michelle, I haven't checked in for a while and am pleased to read that not only is Lucas doing great, you are still a super blogger. Lol, I don't know how you do it(:
xoxo
Amy
My goodness, you were accident prone when you were little!
I'm looking at all the photos running down your design...the first one is amazing...I can't believe he's already holding his head up like that!
Cute, cute photos. And congratulations on getting all these memes done in one post. :-)
I enjoyed getting to know you a little better. I had one of those bed jumping experiences too, only I fell on my cousin's open mouth and her tooth stuck in my forehead. The next day we both had to get tetanus shots. Still didn't stop me from bed jumping. The next time was with my babysitter and we broke the frame of my parent's bed. Thank God I grew up after that!
This was fun to read Michelle :)
Loads of interesting facts!
Spent far too much time online today! It is blogging against disablism day and so I have been reading loads of blog enteries and trying to write my own!
Hope somebody will read it now!
Chris
Hi friend,
Long time no see...I'm glad you're doing well. That's interesting about Kirk Cameron, given the fact that he's who he is now. :-) I like posts likes this that give us a little glimpse into who you are. Keep em comin'!

PS, Thanks for weighing in on my curtains and wishing Baylee a happy birthday!
