First Bath

Last week we gave Lucas his first bath. We asked Kayla if she wanted to help and of course she did...she's become the big helper around here. Lucas was not happy at all. Kayla must be used to his crying now because she stayed right there with us giving him a bath as he screamed and cried all through it. She doesn't run and hide in her room anymore :)

He's working up to letting out a cry

Helping to dry Lucas off

Still not a happy camper

Big sister to the rescue!

Content now!

She wanted to make sure he was warm and snuggly with his blanket too

and a kiss from big sister to make it all better!

What is it with boys and baths! LOL

Could he be any cuter? I think not. He's absolutely adorable and it's pretty obvious Kayla agrees with me.

Avery has exactly the same binkie and I introduced her to it yesterday. Mom was in the shower, baby was hungry, so Nana stuck the binkie in her mouth and she went right back to sleep. LOL

These photos are precious, Michelle.

Just came across your blog. Your kids are darling. It is so fun to see big sisters as little mommies to their little brothers. I had two litte mommies when our little guy was born. There are times now I think he wishes his mommies would disappear. He doesn't get away with too much!

Michelle, they look so precious together and one can tell how much Kayla just loves him!! I don't think too many babies enjoy their baths at first...then there comes a time they don't want to get out of the tub! lol xox
