This has been a pretty slow week for us here; Sunday kind of snuck up on me! There wasn't much that happened this week, but I did find a few things, however small they may be, that I was grateful for:
1. I'm grateful I only had to wait about 10 min for my OB appt on Mon- nothing like that marathon time spent in the waiting room last week! Everything is still the same...I have an appt tomorrow so I'll find out if there has been any change.
2. I'm actually grateful that I'm still pregnant! There were some things I still wanted to get to around the house and I was able to do most of that last week. So now I think I'm ready for the baby to come any day now...and I find myself waking up every morning wondering "is today the day?"
3. I'm grateful I was able to take Kayla to the playgroup in town on Wed. We hadn't had a chance to go since before Christmas and she really enjoys it. It's nice to have since there isn't preschool on Wednesdays.
4. I'm grateful there wasn't much going on this week so I had the time to do what I needed with errands and organizing/purging things around the house (or nesting, but really, it was stuff that had to be done regardless of a new baby coming!)
5. I'm grateful for the nice day out today; it's in the low 70s. We took Kayla to the playground for awhile. I'm glad Joe is home though so he could run around with her and do the things with her I'm just not capable of right now! He's going to grill some steaks for dinner, they've been marinating overnight, so they should be quite tasty!
Hope everyone has a great week!

Lovely list! I'm so excited to find out what you're having... Hope you're sleeping well and feeling great.
I had a slow week too and had a hard time coming up with stuff for my GOG post. :) Sounds like you had a pretty mellow week though.
For a slow week you had a great list. I come by every day hoping to see baby pics....soon very soon we will....Feb 12th sounds good to me.
I hope there's some sort of secret spice in the steak that'll put you in labor! :D Enjoy the steaks!!
Hey stop by my blog. I've given you an award!
Thanks for sharing the small things! They are so important. I'm jealous...I waited 40 minutes for my OB this week! Enjoy these quieter days.
I enjoyed reading your blog and plan on adding you to my favorites list. Its amazing how an uneventful week can turn into a wonderful week! Thank you for sharing
I get very excited when I see you have a new blog post. Not that a birth announcement will be your first priority, I'm sure, but some time soon.
(Grilled steaks and 70 degrees sound SO good to me right now -- it's 10 out here, with wind chills of -10. And snow.)
Oh Michelle, you are getting so close! I am so excited for you, Joe and Kayla! Can't wait for the big announcement! Anyway, just wanted to wish you "Good Luck", before the big day!
Also, LOVING the pictures below. You have such a beautiful family!
I loved the end of the pregnancy - time to relax and just take each day as it comes, because you don't know if it's your last day of quietness or not! LOL Im glad Joe is there to make it an easy transition :)
Awesome list Michelle! How are you doing? I can hardly wait to see your baby!!!!

Have a great week!
I am glad you had a good week - I hope this one is good too. Take care.
Another beautiful list! You know, The Baby came a bit early and it was scary - we WERE NOT READY! Having enough time to be really prepared for this baby is a blessing.
I love that you see the sunny side of things - and remind me to do the same.
ooh marinated steaks!!
Great List!
The nice weather was definitely excellent this past weekend. I took W.W. to the zoo on Saturday and we had lots of fun! He's forever asking to go to the park right now. :)
I'm sure you told me ages ago, Michelle, but I can't remember exactly what your due date is. Sounds like it's right now.
Krissy's due date is March 11th but they don't want her to go into labor so she's scheduled for her c-section on March 3rd.
She spent the whole weekend doing what you did - purging and cleaning and trying to get a little ahead of it all before the baby comes.
Any day now...exciting for you!
Any day now, huh? Great days ahead and more blessings to come.
And happy Valentine's.

Great list! I was up in the night (couldn't sleep some) and found myself praying for you regarding the labour and everything. So just saying hi and letting you know you are in our prayers. Emma still has Kayla's card by her bedside and says to me "She's my friend!" so cute.
Wonderful list! Both my kids were two weeks early which was good because I am not very good at being patient. Best wishes to you all! I'll be keeping you all in my thoughts and prayers.
It is nice to have a slow week and be able to relax. How are you feeling?
Low 70s.......Lucky. It is a lovely, balmy 2 degrees here. Love the list!!
Blessings,
William's Mom
Sometimes those slow weeks are kind of nice and pretty soon you'll be up and running... so to speak. I am just so happy for you and for Joe and Kayla...So happy Joe is home to share this with you!
Oh how your #5 sounds like paradise right now. It is way to cold for liking right now and we're supposed to have another snow storm tomorrow.
I'm longing for days in the sun at the park and grilling some steaks.
Hi Michelle,
Great grateful list! Glad you are able to slow down in these last few days before your baby comes. Take care.
I'm gald your hubby is home too! It's nice especially since you can't do too much. How much longer before your due??
hehe you are totally in nesting mode! too cute!
Thanks for joining in Michelle :) I like the slower weeks - they are rare sometimes!! I hope everything continues well with your pg and that you don't go OVER your due date :) Can't wait to see your new addition!!
