Spicy Surprise Sipper
Peel of lemon, cut into strips
5 inches stick cinnamon, broken
1 tsp whole allspice
1 tsp whole cloves
4 C water
1 12-oz can frozen pineapple-orange juice concentrate
1/4 C honey
1 750-milliliter bottle dry white wine (3 1/4 C)
1. Place lemon peel, cinnamon, cloves, and allspice on a 6-inch square of cheesecloth. Bring corner together and tie with kitchen string. In slow cooker combine spice bag, water, juice concentrate, and honey. Stir in wine.
2. Cover and cook on low for 5-7 hours, or high for 2.5-3 hrs.
