Ask and you shall receive indeed! Wow I never expected so many responses on my post about removing stains! Thank you all for the tips and advice. I guess I just haven't been diligent enough about the soaking - not often, nor long, enough! I have heard about the sunshine trick, and when I washed the shirt in the previous post and saw there were still some stains on the sleeve I did put it out in the sun. I didn't notice any difference, but maybe I didn't have it in the direct sunlight long enough. Anyway, I definitely plan on trying out some of these tricks - thanks again!

Have you seen Suave's Back To Beauty Campaign? 77 percent of moms admit they don't spend enough time on themselves, yet nearly 75 percent say taking care of themselves makes them feel happier, more attractive and more self-confident. Isn't that so true? As moms I think we tend to put ourselves last; Suave is encouraging moms to put the beauty back on their to-do list. The Suave Tips Feed has some great tips on how to take a little time for yourself. I was also sent some Suave products to try and I have to say the Volumizing Shampoo and Root Lifter really do give my hair some extra body! The leave in treatment also seems to be working on preventing breakage.

And now if you've actually read this far - surprise! - I've got little giveaway! I was sent full size bottles of Suave Color Care Shampoo and Conditioner, but I don't color my hair so I haven't used these products. If you color your hair and would like these just let me know! I'll pick a winner this weekend sometime.

Speaking of beauty campaigns - you've probably heard of Dove's Campaign For Real Beauty. They've got some great videos, like the one that shows what your hair goes through to get that Hollywood look. I think my favorite is "Onslaught" - pretty powerful message about advertising these days and what young girls see all over!

Another website I recently found out about is Precious Moms. Blue Suit Mom and Mom Talk Radio teamed up with the Precious Moments company to create this website. The website helps mothers integrate spirituality in their every day lives. There are many interactive tools on the site such as a message board, podcasts, and blogs. I especially like the section under Home Life where you'll find Healthy Eating For Kids, Homeschooling Resources, Family Fun, Make A Difference (just to name a few!). The Celebrations section will give you all sorts of ideas for Birthdays, Anniversaries, Baby Showers, Anniversaries, etc. Under Inspirations you can find Inspirational Messages and Devotionals. This site is just full of information, real-mom advice, and encouragement. If you subscribe to their newsletter within the first 90 days you're eligible to win a one-year membership to either the Collector's Club (that one's for you MIL since I know you like Precious Moments!) or the Fun Club For Kids. Check them out when you get a chance!

I wanted to take a moment and wish my American blogging buddies a Happy Thanksgiving! Enjoy this time with your family and friends! I have a feeling it'll be a little quieter around bloggville over the next couple of days - which is good because I am so behind on answering emails and leaving comments!

Happy Thanksgiving, Michelle! I thought about you today and hoped you were surrounded with loving friends to pass the holiday without Joe. I hope maybe you were able to get a phone call or e-mail. I'm thankful this year that we have become blogging friends. :)

Sorry, I don't have any tips for your stains. I love the new photos of your beautiful Kayla though.

Keeping clothes clean is a hard job with Brenda. She loves to put food on. I really need to try to treat stains better myself.

Happy Thanksgiving

Unfortunately the bit about 77% don't spend enough time on themselves and 75% feel better when they doesn't surprise me at all. I think I fall into that category too.

I've given up coloring my hair so don't enter me in that one. ;) Although I sure would like to be a red head again.

I agree with turn off the TV on the healthy eating for kids info at precious moms. That and make them sit at the table.
