A Face Only a Parent Could Love

Yep I had another u/s today - it will be my last one unless I get one of the non-medical ones you have to pay for (which I'm considering just for one more peek at this little one growing inside of me!)

This baby sure wouldn't cooperate for a 3-d image; the face has to be in a certain position for the tech to get a really good, clear image and s/he didn't want to move (although kicking wasn't a problem!) Plus s/he kept putting their hands up in front of the face which didn't help either!

I'm only measuring 2 days ahead (well the baby is anyway), so everything looks good. Also found out s/he weighs 2.6 lbs.

This baby sure doesn't look like they are going to have a little button nose like Kayla! I think that must be Joe's nose! :)

Those 3d pics are so cool! I never got to have one, and always wished I could. I love seeing how the baby's picture from pregnancy compares to the newborn shots. Very cute baby...

Gorgeous, exciting, wonderful. I so wish I'd had one of these scans with my two children. Still wondering if your babe will share my son's birthday - wouldn't that be cool? xxx

It is just miraculous to me - this getting to have a "peek" at your little one before he/she is born. I just love the picture Michelle. I'm so happy that all is well.

Well I think that face is beautiful!!! How incredibly exciting. They didn't have technology like that when I was pregnant..you know, back in the OLD days. ha ha

It's AMAZING what they do now for ultrasounds! How cool that you get such a photograph ~

Absolutely amazing photos, Michelle. I don't know how you can stand not knowing the baby's sex. And as remarkable as these photos are, there's certainly no clue.

How I wish Krissy and Andy could have a 3-D ultrasound done. Way too expensive. So I have to wait 3 more months, like you, to meet our new baby. I'm beyond excited.

I know you are, too.

I have to add that when fil/gp saw the pictures the first thing he said was that baby is gonna be a boy. Has to be with a nose like that LOL!!!

OH. MY. GOODNESS!! As soon as I saw the pictures I thought they looked like the pictures of Joe! And I know y'all aren't finding out...but I swear I think you're having a BOY.

YAY! Too sweet!

Oh Michelle he or she is BEAUTIFUL!!!

What does Kayla think when she sees the pictures? It's kind of funny isn't it really they look at the U/S and then the baby arrives looking totally different!!

Dont' you love those 3-D images? How fun is that?! I love the hands up at the face. I'm so excited for you! Is Kayla able to make out that it's a baby?

Gorgeous! I kinda have a feeling like you're having a boy too. Not from the pictures, just because. I can't wait to meet this little one and can't wait to see Kayla in mommy-mode with her new baby.

Wonderful pictures. It's amazing how much infants move around in the womb. Sometimes I think they really are running away from all that pressure from the u/s device.

Oh, how beautiful!

It's amazing how much detail you see with those 3-D ultrasounds. I'm so glad you shared the pics with us.

I pray the remainder of your pregnancy goes by quickly and smoothly! :)

How exciting. You have to love technology.

I was actually thinking that s/he looks like s/he has Kayla's nose before you wrote that last part.

I have to tell you that I think these u/s distort the nose sometimes too. I have a u/s of Preston that looks like he was gonna have a major honker, and his nose is a cute perfect sized one.

Wow! That is so amazing and he/she is absolutely beautiful! What a miracle. How can anyone not believe in God when they see this?

Thank you for sharing this wonderful picture! Ilove him/her already!

What a truly precious face. Kayla will just be such a sweet big sissy to this one. You will have 2 angels to love and won't that be a treasure?
