Too Funny Not To Share

I saw this at Shannon's yesterday and just had to share it here as well. This lady found the most common things/phrases moms say in a 24-hr period and condensed it to just over 2 minutes ...the William Tell Overture for Moms.

It really is funny, take a few minutes to watch this:

Last night Kayla and I watched Dancing With The Stars (well until 8:00 anyway when Heroes started; so I missed the last two dancers), Kayla loves this show! The problem is she wants me to get up off the couch and dance with her. Ok that isn't really the problem, I could use some exercise dancing around the living room. The problem is she wants me to hold her while dancing. I could only manage that through the first dance! At every commercial she would say, "mommy dance. Dance? mommy dance" As if I had changed the channel or something!

I really enjoyed the season premier of Heroes last night; although it was strange to watch it without Joe. That is one of his favorite shows. Hopefully he'll be able to catch it over there at some point. I know he'll actually appreciate being able to watch it without me. Why? Because I admit, I have a little tendency, a little bad habit, of talking through shows/movies...trying to ask questions about this or that, or wondering what this/that means. He frequently gets frustrated and says, "I don't know the answers, I'm watching it just like you!" LOL I can't help it though, I guess I like to "dissect" it while I'm watching it...and I had no one to rehash it with last night, which he is grateful for :)

Before I forget, Amy is having another contest, so go check it out and see what you can win.

I can't get enough of that video.

Plus, I have been waiting for months for Heroes to come back on. That is an awesome show. Funny since last year when it started, I was so confused at first. You actually had to watch like 4 episodes before it started making sense, but them it became irresistible.

My wife is addicted to Heroes. I've never seen one episode. I'm more of ... well, a UFC fan.

Not a good example, huh?

Someone else from my church just sent me that William Tell Overature yesterday. So funny! Did you get to see Helio Castronevez dance? I forgot to tape it and since we like Helio so much, I am bummed. Did he get cut or do you know? Heroes is a show I've never watched but want to watch because I've heard such great things about it.

Yes, I've watched this, and wouldn't it be so fun to memorize? I know you are really missing Joe--I do hope that this time goes by speedily. I'm so glad you have Kayla there to keep you company--and to make you get up and dance!

Well, I recorded Heroes on the DVR but haven't watched it yet. Shannon is coming over tonight and his dvr didn't record it so we're all watching it together. I'm going crazy waiting. I have to wait for my mom to get back from PR before I can watch DWTS and House. UGH!! I'm hooked on America's Next top model too and I didn't wait for anyone to watch that. If you want someone to talk to about Heroes, I'm your girl!

I can see where it would be a little difficult to hold her while you dance, especially right now. She's getting to be a big girl and you're pregnant!

My favorites are conflicting with each other too right now. My sister got me hooked on The Biggest Loser but that means I miss House. So I decided to stick with Loser and wait for the House reruns.

As long as nothing conflicts with The Bachelor or Survivor, I'm good. :-)

You're right, that's little blip is too funny! I needed a laugh that's for sure.

That was amazing!

I can just see you dancing around with Kayla!
Maybe you should give her a favorite doll instead...

Oh yes. My husband is a "talker." He asks me questions during our shows that I would not know unless I had written the story myself. LOL It's one of the things that makes me feel like punching him but that I would miss if he was gone. That and singing in a strange falsetto with the radio (shudder).

Keep dancing.

The video is not working for me at the moment but I think it's my computer.

Snuggle Bug likes to dance with me too and, same thing as Kayla, he prefers it if I hold him to dance. He weighs about 27 pounds now so it's a bit tough to do this for any length of time! :)

Okay, since you participated last year, I’m stopping by to let you know that I’m hosting a 2nd Edition of my Holiday Cooking, Blogger Style recipe exchange!

I hope you can join me again this year on 5 October. And, would you mind helping me to spread the word by publishing a post about my holiday recipe exchange before next Friday? I’d sure appreciate it! I have the button in my most recent post.

Thanks so much!

So funny - this movie is hilarious, thanks for sharing! And yes, the asking part during a show sounds quite familiar to me, hehe.

I've never seen Heroes, but I thought what you were saying was so cute! I sometimes do the same thing, and my husband gets a little annoyed, too, I think! ;)
