Grains of Gratitude

Yes I'm posting this a day early because we'll be hitting the road tomorrow!

1. I'm obviously grateful that we could be here this week and see family; I'm grateful we were able to drive out here and Joe had enough leave to take this much time off.

2. I'm grateful for the wonderful time we had in Baltimore at Port Museum, and meeting 2 other families there...pictures to come soon!

3. I'm grateful for the great time we had touring Washington DC yesterday. Joe and I went with my sister and her boyfriend. Joe has never been to DC so it was nice to be able to show him around.

4. I'm grateful my relatives all arrived back safely when they left last week.

5. I'm grateful Kayla's been having a great time and is being (mostly!) well-behaved. Good thing my mom still has a basement full of my sister's old toys for Kayla to have fun with!

6. On our trip back we're hopefully going to have 3 more IRL get-togethers. How fun! I hope it works out and I'm grateful for this opportunity to be able to meet so many wonderful people via the internet!

As one of the people who have met you along your way...I want to say thank you for taking the time to stop and meet me!!! I enjoyed it so much! You and Joe are just as I thought you would be...good people...and Kayla is a gorgeous little gal!!! I wish you a very safe journey with many blessings along the way. (I have pictures up on my blog of our meeting!) God bless the three of you as you venture towards home. Huggs!!

Glad to hear that you are having a great time on your vacation! To answer your question, my husband went backpacking in Pecos Wilderness, New Mexico. Hopefully, I can get him to post about it soon!

I just ordered a "Go your own way" shirt for Grayson. I'll post a pic when we get it!

Hey!

Yeah there isn't too much to do in Wichita Falls! There are some parks, but it has been pretty hot lately. If you are interested we have a kiddy pool in our yard and a house full of toys, my son is 3 and would LOVE to play with Kayla and I would love to meet her! We live right by the base so are relatively easy to find. Just let me know. I don't work so any day of the week would be fine with me. Talk to you soon!
