Grains of Gratitude

Welcome to another week of my gratitude post!

1. On Monday I had a dental appointment with xrays- I'm grateful everything is fine and there were no cavities!

2. Friday was monthly bunco night - yay for fun times!

3. Grateful that I received 3 free books from Donna Fleisher. They are from her Homeland Heroes Series. I first heard of her books through Eden's blog Air Force Family. Donna is a Christian writer and Air Force veteran and I was so excited to start reading this series. I started the first book "Wounded Healer" last night and I was hooked on the first page!

So how did I get these 3 books from Donna for free? Because she's so generous! If you're in the military she will send you the books in this series for free, including shipping! If you're not military you can still get an awesome deal from her. You can order the books online through amazon.com, walmart.com etc but why do that when she offers this: order a book directly through her for only $10 and she pays the shipping! If you order 3 of her books, she'll send the 4th one free! And...she also autographs each book! Just click here for all the details. Thanks again Donna, I'm very grateful for the books you sent!

I mentioned in yesterday's post there were a couple other reasons to celebrate, but I was saving them for my gratitude post; here they are:

4. Joe took his promotion test on Tuesday. We don't know if he made it though - results don't come out till the summer. He doesn't feel too confident about the test, but I'm still keeping my fingers crossed and hoping and praying that he made it. And we're just "celebrating" that it's over with now - no more studying!

5. My sister had arthroscopic knee surgery - I'm grateful all went well with that and her continued recovery. But the big news is my sister received an acceptance letter to the University of Maryland - her first choice!! Congratulations Kelly; we're so proud of you!

I'll bet Joe did better on that test than he thinks he did. But I know you're both relieved it's over.

Congratulations to Kelly. And what a good deal that is on the books.

Lots of nice grains here, Michelle.

So much to be thankful for!

I wanted to tell you - I found the stain remover that I posted a WFMW about ( GOOP ) at Walmart. You have to look in the automotive dept. It's about $2.00 for a container.

Michelle, I love your blog and I love Kayla (I think you know that) and I want to send you books for free, too! My husband has written two, and I've edited one, and if you are comfortable emailing me your mailing address, copies of all three are yours...

Keep up the good work, thank you!
