You're all invited

to a tea party!

Kayla loves to have tea parties, she'll pour you some tea all day long! We haven't done the "decked-out-in-fancy-dresses-and-hats" tea party yet, but I'm sure it won't be long before that happens.

A few things from this video montage:

Notice when the tea pot falls off the little stove she says "tea, ok?" (there's that thing with inanimate objects again!)

When I ask her if I can have some tea she says, "oh, ok!" That's a favorite phrase of hers and she uses it for anything and everything. It usually sounds like you've just suggested the neatest thing to her. "Kayla do you want to help mommy with the clothes?" "oh, ok!" "Kayla do you want to have an apple?" "oh, ok!" "Kayla go put your books away." "oh, ok!"
Or even when she asks for something, "cracker please." "You want a cracker?" "oh, ok!" as if it was your idea to begin with.

When I ask her about going to school on the bus she signs both of the words. School is clapping twice (like a teacher getting the students' attention) and bus is reaching up and saying ding ding, like city buses when you need to get off at that stop.

That was so freakin' cute! I love when she said Ding Ding for the bus, but the best part wwas when she said "I cute", or hold on, maybe it was when she wanted to see Kayla... She is just gorgeous!!

Now that Kayla knows how to say "oh ok" you can tell her to clean her room!
I like the videos of Kayla. I hope I can see her for real soon. Maybe me and my mommy can come visit. (and Rhi too.)
love, Nate

Kayla, I'll have a big cup of tea! I just got down getting lots of snow off of my sidewalks. I'm very cold and I know your tea would warm me up!

My dial-up is so frustrating sometimes. I can't seem to get it to show me your video. I know it's adorable. I can just imagine her saying "ok, ok". She has such a happy disposition.
We're preparing for snow. Can you believe it? We haven't seen snow here in twenty years. The kids will go crazy!!

Tea parties are so amazing! Becca received a set for Christmas and it has been a non-stop tea party at our place. We have not dressed up but I plan to eventually! Maybe even a few real cookies! Too fun! That video is so awesome!

I hate tea, but I'd come to Kayla's tea party.

My 3-year old loves to play Pizza Party. He takes the order, bakes the pizza and delivers it to you.

"Do you like Pepperoni pizza?" he'll ask.

"No," I'll say.

I tell him that Pepperoni and my tummy don't go together.

He nods his head then says, "OK. I'll get you Pepperoni pizza."

I tell him again that Pepperoni and my tummy don't go together. I tell him twice, maybe thrice.

My 3-year old sighs then say, "But, Daddy, it's just pretend!"

Oh, how precious! Now this is why we need a little girl! The closest I come to a tea party is when Snuggle Bug whips up something in his Little Tykes kitchen and wants to share. :)

Thanks for sharing the video.

Kayla is so cute! The twins love tea parties - they'd love to join in with Kayla I am sure. When I ask Kit who is the most gorgeous boy in Sydney - he always answers 'Kit' and when I ask how many beautiful babies Mummy has he says "two!". I liked the 'Ding Ding' for the bus too.
