Slow Cooker Thursday

Peanut Butter Cocoa

1 Cup instant milk chocolate cocoa mix
8 Cups hot water
3/4 Cup chocolate-flavored syrup
1/4 Cup creamy peanut butter (don't use crunchy-style)
1 1/2 Tsp vanilla

Place cocoa mix in slow cooker. Carefully stir in hot water. Stir in chocolate syrup. Cover and cook on low-heat setting for 3-4 hrs, or high-heat for 1.5-2 hrs. Whisk in peanut butter and vanilla until smooth.

Wow! Now why hasn't anyone ever thought of this before! It's like having a Reeses in a real cup! What's even better, I have all the ingredients! Yipee! :)

If I wasn't on a diet, I'd be making this right NOW! I may save this recipe as a "cheat" somewhere down the road.

I think this would be a huge hit with the grandkids!!! I'm with Pamela - it sounds like a peanut butter cup in liquid form. And oh how I love those peanut butter cups!!

Yum! That sounds pretty amazing! It would certainly be gross with crunchy, though...

Ooooh, never heard of putting peanut butter in cocoa before but I'm going to try it! I remember as a child loving to drink cocoa and having toast with peanut butter at the same time!!
