So I decided to participate in Boo Mama's Christmas Tour of Homes, but before we began if you're looking for my "Friday Freebie" and "Favorite Ingredient Friday" posts they are just below this one!
If you're planning on coming by for the tour please let me know...we do live on a military installation and I'll have to sign you in at the visitor center if you don't have a military ID card! Please keep in mind that since we do live in military housing we are pretty limited with size - housing is small, not a lot of room (especially when it comes to decorating for the holidays!) so it could get a little crowded. It would be nice if everyone could stagger their visits throughout the day :)
Here's the front door which Kayla helped me decorate!
As soon as you come in the door you'll be greeted by this smiling guy to your left
On your way into the living room
My nativity sets
Village that sits atop the entertainment center
In through the dining room to the kitchen
Help yourself to a candy cane!
Kayla's handprint art from last year (the antlers are cutouts of her hands)
Kayla thought the washer and dryer should each have a snowflake too!
Miscellaneous decorations on top of the computer desk. Each year on Black Friday my inlaws get up before the crack of dawn to go shopping. One of their stops is always JC Penney's where they hand out free Disney snowglobes. My MIL is nice enough to grab an extra one for us because she knows we're still sleeping at that time!
My card display
and last but not least - the tree of course! Sort of shoved into this little corner because we really have no other place to put it (did I mention base housing is small?!) There are no presents under the tree yet because 1) Kayla will probably try to open them all, and 2) Joe will squeeze, feel, pick up, and shake all of them to try and guess what they are!
Thanks for stopping by! I'll be making my way to each of your places - probably over the next few days!
