PastorMac's Ann from Its Always A Production and Pam from Just The Two Of Us tagged me for this one and I'm finally getting around to doing it! I think I was tagged for something else but now I can't remember from who and for what!
Before I get to this one I just wanted to update on Kayla's follow up cardiology appointment. To sum it up: a waste of time! She was supposed to get an echo so they could check on the coil and make sure everything looked ok. Well Kayla protested when the dr wanted to just listen to her heart with the stethescope. She fought that and moved around so much the dr said it wouldn't be worth trying the echo; she needed to be still for them to get a good look at her heart with the echo. So it didn't happen. Kayla absolutely hates going to the dr...she doesn't like to be touched, she doesn't like the instruments to touch her, so it's a fight every time.
Ok ... on with the questions:
1. Five Minutes to yourself. How would you spend them ideally? I was going to say catch up on the stack of magazines I have sitting here; but really I wouldn't get through much in 5 min. So I'm going with - giving my feet a nice soak in a scented foot bath. I don't pamper my feet enough.
2. Five Dollars to spend right now. How or where would you spend it? Probably at Hobby Lobby or some scrapbooking store. Never can have enough scrapbooking supplies!
3) Five Items in your house you could part with right now? Couch and loveseat, futon, clothes Kayla has outgrown, boxes and boxes of Joe's Magic the Gathering playing cards (don't ask - but he is slowly starting to sell them on ebay so that's a start!) Joe's large Coca-cola mirror that's in our outside storage closet (the things you inherit when you get married!)
4. Five Items in your house you absolutely, positively could never part with? journals, photographs, negatives, scrapbooks and I never leave home without my military ID because I need that to get on base, to go to the BX, the Commissary, pick up prescriptions at the clinic, basically to do anything on base!
5. Five Words you love? Mommy, I yuv you! (and of course the adult version I love you), debt-free, happy, peaceful.

Oh, I'm sorry that Kayla's follow up cardiology appointment was a waste of time! Snuggle Bug hates going to the doctor for the same reasons as Kayla. It's never fun for us to go.

Awwww one can't blame Kayla for not liking it at the doctor's...poor little thing! Hopefully, though, as she gets older it will be easier...they do need to keep checking on her. Loved your answers to the meme, had never seen that one before:-)

That's what I was thinking. If the doctor was no more insistent than that, then that's good, right? I don't blame her. I don't think I know anyone, especially ME, who actually likes going to the doctor.
What a good job on the 5-5-5 meme. I've STILL got some pretty strange things around here that sort of came with the man I married almost 28 years ago. Somehow I've managed to convince him that they all look spectacular in the garage!

Good answers on your meme....I bought a footbath a couple years ago, but one
of my gfs who stood on her feet all day while working, was having trouble with her feet so I gave it to her.

Poor Kayla! My kids hate going to the doctor, too.
She will outgrow that wiggling-I used to hate to go to the doctor with Kendall but now that she is older~she is used to it and is still.
