Slow Cooker Thursday

Zesty Cocktail Meatballs

1 beaten egg
1 10.5-ounce can condensed French Onion Soup
2 C herb-seasoned stuffing mix
2 lbs ground beef
1 15-ounce can tomato sauce
1/3 c packed brown sugar
2 Tbsp Worcestershire sauce
2 Tbsp vinegar

1. In large bowl combine egg, soup, and stuffing mix. Add ground beef; mix well. Shape into fifty 1-inch meatballs. Place meatballs in a baking pan. Bake in a 350 oven for 15-18 min or until no longer pink (meat thermometer 160). Drain fat off meatballs and transfer to a slow cooker.

2. In a large bowl combine the remaining ingredients. Pour over meatballs; stir gently to coat.

3. Cook on high-heat setting for 2 hrs. Serve immediately or keep warm on low-heat setting for up to 2 hrs.

My gosh, Michelle. These sound wonderful. I've printed this recipe and may make these when my sister and her husband are here next week. I put a little brown sugar into the mix when I make sloppy joes so I know what that does to the flavor. Thank you for sharing this one!
