Grains of Gratitude

5 things I am grateful for:

1. Our base has a "Parent's Night Out" once a month. Club members can drop their children off at the Child Development Center or Youth Center from 6-11 pm and it's free childcare! We bring card games or something to one of the clubs and just hang out with other couples for a "game night" sans kids - it's very nice!

2. For my husband and the 6 wonderful years we've been married.

3. For the amount of support we've received on our upcoming Buddy Walk.

4. For the yummy breakfast Joe made this morning - cinnamon apple waffles.

5. For yesterday morning when Joe brought Kayla into bed with us after she woke up and we all fell back asleep snuggled together.

If you've written your gratitude post, don't forget to stop by Christine's to let her know!

We love to snuggle...and considering Aviva still sleeps with us it is really nice (but she is moving back to her room this week).

Sounds like you had a truly wonderful week, and I can smell those waffles.

HUGS!

It is amazing to realize that we can be grateful for things that are the most simple things in our lives..and the big things in our lives and they occur almost every day...The most beautiful is when Joe brought Kayla back into your's and Joe's bed and all 3 of you fell back to sleep!!! such is the life....and the big thing is how many people have supported all 3 of you.....so many people really do CARE !!!! love mom/grandmom

Awww I remember cuddle times in bed with my two boys when they were little...not often they'd fall back asleep though! lol Great list of things to be grateful for, especially the parents' night out which I think we all need to stay sane and have some adult chat!! Hugs!

Oh, what I wouldn't give for a monthly Parent's Night Out. I need to be better about trying to arrange something here with our friends.

I just learned that our city is having a Buddy Walk as well! I think I'm just going to support your efforts this year. I was pleased to see one being done here too though.

Cinnamon apple waffles...care to share that recipe? Maybe you can save it for my Five Ingredient Friday recipe exchange this week. :)

Awh, that's so sweet that Kayla snuggled back to sleep with you and Joe. Snuggle Bug is so squirmy that this doesn't happen often for us anymore. When it does, I just love it!

Great post!

Snuggles in bed are very popular here too. Great that you have a night off once a month. What a great idea.
