Treasure Tuesday

My treasure - Sunday mornings.

Ok all together now, "and why Sunday mornings?"

Because my wonderful husband cooks us up a big breakfast on Sunday mornings, that's why!

I am usually hungry right when I wake up so my breakfast on most days is a bowl of cereal...no preparation needed and I eat fairly soon after waking up.

So on Sunday morning I get treated to a nice, big, hot breakfast (ok sometimes the waiting for breakfast to get done is hard, because as I said, I'm hungry! but it's so worth the wait!)

Joe makes different flavors of waffles and pancakes, or egg/cheese/sausage muffins, egg/cheese/sausage casseroles, omlets, breakfast burritos, scrambled eggs with hasbrowns and saugsage, biscuits and gravy...ok you get the picture!

The best part about this (well besides the part where I don't have to get dressed, comb my hair, put on make-up, leave the house to go to a restaurant and wait for breakfast part!) is that he even washes all the dishes afterwards!

What a treasure this is for me! and Kayla too - she really enjoys Daddy's breakfasts as well!

What a wonderful treasure!! I wish I was able to do that, but on the other hand I love doing it for my husband!!

Bookie also does this on weekends and I love it too. Especially the part where he takes Vincent at 6 am and then tells me I can sleep longer. Then when I wake up a few hours later breakfast is on the table!
I think we deserve it :0)

Mmmm. I very rarely eat breakfast right after waking up... When I do, it's usually whatever the kids didn't finish like half a soggy waffle, or something like that. This is a great treasure.

You are never to speak to my wife about this. I don't want her to get any ideas:)

It also sounds like you need a good artery cleaning after Sunday Breakfast.

That's wonderful! My hubby does this for us on Saturday mornings, then we all go out in the yard and work (or clean inside if it's yucky outside). A relaxing Sunday breakfast sounds better though :) What a great hubby!
