Five Ingredient Friday

Creamy Ranch Potatoes

2.5 lbs of small red potatoes, quartered
8 ounce sour cream
.4 ounce package buttermilk ranch dry salad dressing mix
1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup

Place potatoes in a slow cooker. In a small bow combine remaining ingredients. Spoon mixture over potatoes; stir.

(The directions actually say to "cover" - I think if you're using a slower cooker you would know to cover it!)

Cook on low-heat setting for 7 to 8 hours or on hight-heat setting for 3.5 to 4 hours. Stir gently before serving.

These sound quite yummy and I love slow cooker recipes! I'll have to try these. Thanks for sharing.

Oh, and I'm all packed up and I'm about ready to depart Alamogordo, NM to fly back home (I hit the road at 9 a.m. to drive to El Paso and catch my plane home). I can't wait to see my baby! I've missed him so much!

Can you believe it, I actually fit that long bag of pistachio bird feed in my suitcase! :)

I was wondering when your flight was...at least you didn't have to get up too early to catch that flight! Have a safe flight home and I know you're missing your baby!

You did some great packing to get that bag in the luggage!!

Thank you! Potatoes can be so boring so anytime I discover a way to make them a little more exciting, I try it. These sound great and how easy is that, the slow cooker! Next family dinner, I'm trying these.

I love slow cooker recipes. Sounds like a yummy way to make potatoes.

I made the keilbasa and potatoes last night, and it was very good. I also made the cream cheese clouds again for breakfast. You have to make them they are very good!
