Harvestland Products Review and Giveaway

Contest is now closed; winner has been notified.

I participated in a blogger review opportunity with Moms Meet for HARVESTLAND products. I received coupons to purchase the products to facilitate my review; all opinions are my own."

HARVESTLAND is a brand of all natural chicken, turkey and pork products from fresh, to refrigerated, to frozen and and even deli.

Some of the facts about HARVESTLAND products include:

- all of the chickens are raised on family farms with strict USDA Process Verified programs; chickens are fed all-vegetarian diets with no animal by-products, raised caged-free and antibiotic free

- turkeys are also raised with the same standards with no antibiotics, steroids, or hormones

- pork is the latest addition to this brand and hogs are also raised on family farms in the Midwest, all vegetarian diet and no antibiotics

- offer USDA-certified organic chicken; raised on free-range, organic farms and vegetarian diet consists of all organic ingredients

A variety of retailers carry the HARVESTLAND brand, unfortunately (for me!) out of the 3 retailers near me only 2 carried this brand with limited product variety. I was hoping to try the kielbasa, fully cooked, uncured ham, sweet Italian turkey sausage, and also the chicken sausage. The only products I found were fresh chicken breasts, drumsticks, whole chicken, and ground turkey.

I used the chicken drumsticks in the slow cooker, the ground turkey in tacos, and the thin sliced chicken breast in a cheesy chicken cutlets roll-up recipe.

I liked knowing that these products are all-natural, antibiotic and cage-free, and fed all-vegetarian diets. All of the recipes that I made tasted great!

You can also find a variety of recipes on their website. HARVESTLAND is on Facebook and Twitter.

I have 2 coupons for $5 off (each) HARVESTLAND products to giveaway to 1 winner. Just leave a comment with whether you've tried HARVESTLAND products before, and if so, do you have a favorite product or recipe? I will use random.org to select a winner.

I haven't tried their products yet. But we have been trying to go organic with our meat/produce. David is even thinking about getting our own chickens. I'm trying to resist with logic....

I haven't tried it yet, as I haven't seen it. Like Kerri, I've been trying to buy more local or organic meat. I'm going to get a half of local cow this spring for the freezer. Thanks for the review. If I see this product, now I'll try it.

I have never tried this brand before, but I used the product locator on their site and found that it is available at my local Walmart.
