This past Sunday we walked by a couple doing some swing dancing. Kayla was mesmerized. We had to stop and watch. Then she was just itching to get out there and dance too. After the couple finished their second dance Kayla started inching her way out there to dance. The gentleman said she could dance; I asked if he wouldn't mind dancing with her. He obliged. Kayla shined. She loved every minute of it.
I love this one - she was copying his moves with her hand on her hip and bringing her knees in and out.

I love these pictures! Go Kayla! She's got more guts than me - I'm better than I used to be, but I'm still somewhat of an introvert and would never just go out there and let loose.
I love the last one - such joy in her pose! Is she taking any kind of dance class? Even a modern jazz class would be fun for her.

Ciena just participated in her first dance production. She had the time of her life and even had a little "solo" on stage shaking her hips back and forth to the music while she was supposed to have run off stage with the rest of her classmates! haha So funny.
