Times Square Video

Each year the National Down Syndrome Society puts out a call for pictures for the annual New York City Buddy Walk. The pictures are put together as a video slideshow and shown on the large video screen in Times Square.

They receive thousands of photographs and pick over 200 for the slideshow.

Kayla's first had a picture included in the slideshow when she was 2. And now, 7 years later, her picture is going to be a part of the slideshow again.

This is the picture I submitted that will be up on the big screen in Times Square.

The video will be shown during the NYC Buddy Walk on Sept 22. I'd really love to be there and see the slideshow as it's being shown in Times Square, but we've traveled so much this summer that I'm not sure the expense of getting to, and staying in, NYC will be doable for us. Bummed about that, but I know a few people going so someone should be able to take a picture of Kayla's picture up on the big screen for me!
