We Asked Parents If They Could Go Back

We asked parents if they could go back right before they had, or adopted, their child(ren) with Down syndrome, what would they tell themselves?

That was the question posed from the International Down Syndrome Coalition for Life. Parents sent in pictures of themselves and/or loved one holding up a sign with their answers... their bits of wisdom. This was turned into a beautiful video slide show to celebrate World Down Syndrome Day.

Check it out (Kayla and I are in there too!)

Great video! If I could know one thing it would be to stay as far away from Reece's Rainbow as possible. Yes, they did bring us to be aware of our son but they also stood by while their facilitator issued death threats and did nothing. Not fun to be in a foreign country when the death threats are flying!

This brought tears to my eyes. I gasped when it started; the first time I saw Tarzan and heard that song, 'You'll Be in My Heart' I immediately thought of Beth. That song has always reminded me of Beth, it describes us perfectly.

This is such a great montage. Beautiful people, true messages.
