Most Beautiful Eyes

I finally submitted a picture of Kayla for Prevent Blindness America's Most Beautiful Eyes contest. I posted about this contest last month, but here is a quick recap:

Prevent Blindness America is the nation's leading volunteer eye health and safety organization dedicated to fighting blindness and saving sight.

The program is designed to support the Star Pupils program, the signature vision and education platform for Prevent Blindness America. The goal is to help 5 million kids through preventative vision care.

One winner from each state will be chosen (from votes received on the Facebook page). The (potential) 50 state winners will then be narrowed down to 5 from a panel chose from Prevent Blindness. Then 3 celebrity judges will pick the 1st, 2nd, and 3rd place winners.

The grand prize winner will become the face of the "Star Pupil" program and receive a $25,000 scholarship.

Here is the picture I submitted of Kayla:

If you wouldn't mind taking a few moments to vote for her I'd really appreciate it! Voting runs through Sept 30th and you can vote once a day. I'll probably post a few reminders throughout the month :)

Thank you in advance!

Hi Michelle - I've voted :)

Meanwhile, I just wanted to let you know I've added you to the Squidoo Lens as requested.

You and your blog seem familiar - I'm sure we've crossed paths before. I was surprised Big Blueberry Eyes wasn't already on the Lens, but that's been sorted now :)

Hope your photo of Kayla is a winner!
