Not Acceptable
The folks at Spread The Word To End The Word have put together a pretty powerful PSA on the r-word. It airs tonight on Glee, in case you miss(ed) it, here it is:
"The r-word is the same as every minority slur. Treat it that way and don't use it."

That's great! I love how direct and to the point it is. People who would never think of using racial slurs throw out that word all the time and it is so offensive. I hope this makes a difference.
I work in special education in RIverside and Lauren was one of my students, She is an amazing young woman
