On Christmas Eve we went to the
James Island Holiday Festival of Lights. This was such a fun event to go to with a 3-mile drive through hundreds of light displays. Then we parked the car and went to Santa's Village where we roasted marshmallows, rode the carousel, viewed a sand sculpture, and took a mini train ride.
It was fun and the kids had a great time, but wow was it cold! I didn't think we would be that cold living in SC, but yes, temps do drop in the 30s here :)
A little video clip of the synchronized music/light show (with a peek at Kayla dancing along):

looks like such a fun night? And who can refuse toasted marshmallows :)
What a beautiful family. I would love to go there and see the lights. I live in NC. I also have decided to follow along with you because those BIG Blueberry Eyes are adorable.
Blessings,
Bren
What cool lights!
We have gone to the festival the last two years and love it! Next year we are determined to do the train ride, which we have heard is a lot of fun for the little ones. This year and last year we whimped out because of the bitter cold :)
