4th Annual 31 for 21 Blog Challenge

Tomorrow is Oct 1st. October is National Down Syndrome Awareness Month. That means its time for the annual 31 for 21 blog challenge - raising awareness for Down syndrome.

The blog challenge is to post something on your blog for every day in October; hence the "31" part of the 31 for 21. The 21 stands for Trisomy 21, which is the medical term for Down syndrome. 21 is the chromosome that people with Down syndrome have 3 of, instead of the usual 2. The 21 is that 'extra' chromosome.

4 years ago Tricia came up with the idea of this blog challenge to help raise awareness. I've participated every year and of course will be doing so again this year!

Every post does NOT have to be about Down syndrome, you don't even have to have a child (or relative) with Down syndrome, just post every day and display the button to show that you're participating in the challenge. And by doing that, you'll be raising awareness! Anyone can participate.

Are you up for the challenge? If you already blog pretty much every day than you're already there! Just add this button to show you're participating:

Thanks for hosting this again Tricia!

I'm in , this will be my 3rd year. I've already posted for tomorrow, and scheduled a few more in hopes I don't get behind. Time has a sneaky way of getting away from me! Always happy to read your post, and about your sweet family.
