Convention is a great place to get some great information, mingle, make new friends, and connect with online friends.
So, it's not Sacramento, but this weekend a group of families from the DS community are getting together at Sesame Place in PA!
I met all but one of the families last year in Boston, so I'm excited about getting together with them again...especially since I missed out on any Sacramento get-togethers!
I know the kids will all have a blast together, and us mommies will enjoy being able to hang out, relax, chat, and have fun.

Ah, bummer. I still have a day on my Sesame Place ticket, but I have a PTA budget meeting this weekend. Have a great time!!

Orlando! I'm not sure that's much closer than Sacramento, financially, but I'll keep it in mind. I'd love to attend!
