Halloween Already?

With school starting back up this month (Kayla starts on the 24th) I realized how quickly the next couple months will pass by and before you know it's Halloween!

The holidays always seem to sneak up on me. I have no idea what costumes the kids will dress in this year. This will be Lucas's first year to dress up. I don't usually dress up for Halloween, and can't remember the last time I did wear a costume, but I was thinking it might be fun to dress up with them when they go trick-or-treating; so I started looking at some adult Halloween costumes.

The Barrel of Monkeys would be good; especially if I could find monkey costumes for Kayla and Lucas! I also liked the Man Eating Shark costume.

Do you dress up along with your kids? If so, do you know what you're wearing this year?

I love the Barrel of Monkeys costume. Too funny! I don't dress up for Halloween (yet). Maybe when Matthew is older.

We don't typically celebrate Halloween. However, when they were younger we enjoyed attending the fall festival at church and dressing in costumes. I didn't usually dress up back then. It was enough just to get them ready! However, these days I'm the more likely one to don a costume and not always at Halloween. I think it's great fun to dress up.

No, I don't dress up.

I have Kayla's costume in my mind, though. She's going to be a new super-heroine: Miss Ability, and her slogan is "Don't Dis Me!" My friend already made the cape with a big A on it, I just have to get around to making the T-shirt for it.
