Funky Monkey Snacks Giveaway

Comments are closed; winner is A Thorn Among Roses!

Recently I was sent some Funky Monkey snacks to review.

So just what are Funky Monkey snacks? They are 100% certified organic fruit which is freeze-dried to produce a crunchy, tasty snack. There is no added sugar, sweeteners, artificial colors or flavors, or preservatives. Each 1-oz bag provides 3 servings of fruit.

Since they are 100% fruit it means they are naturally gluten-free. And I need more gluten-free snacks for Kayla, especially since they have an afternoon snack in the classroom and for the most part she can't have what is supplied.

I received 4 different flavors to try: Bananmon (bananas and cinnamon), Carnaval Mix (banana, pineapple, apple, papaya, raisins), Jivealime (pineapple and lime juice), and Purple Funk (banana and acai).

So how did we like the Funky Monkey snacks? Lucas loved them. He couldn't get enough of them and would have eaten the whole bag if I let him; but I wanted him to share with the rest of us!

Kayla wasn't as sure about them...she's a little hesitant when it comes to new food and I think the crunchy texture threw her off a bit. She didn't seem to care for the Purple Funk too much, but Bananamon seemed to be her favorite. My favorite was the Jivealime.

These are convenient to keep in your car, purse, or diaper bag and pull out when the kids need a snack. It would be nice if the bags were resealable too; in case you don't finish them all in one sitting.

Now for the best part - I have a 4-bag set of all the flavors to give away to one lucky reader!

To enter just let me know which flavor you're most interested in trying and make sure I have a way to contact you if you're the winner.

Winner will be chosen by Random.org on Sunday.

Bananamon sounds yummy. I'll bet they're all good, though, because we love dried fruit. :-)

I could go for the carnival mix. My girls love dried freeze-dried fruits. I can find ones that are resealable, but I'd love ones in individual servings.

:)

Those sounds wonderful! Can you get them at the local grocery/walmart store? I may have to look for these next time I am there.
