House Party

Several months ago, I don't remember how, but I came across this site called House Party.

What is House Party? From their website: House Party™ lets people who really love something host a special event featuring a fun, free, exclusive experience sponsored by the world’s leading brands. Each event is sponsored by a leading brand and focuses on something cool—like a new product, hit TV show, or great cause—that the sponsor wants its best fans to experience firsthand and share with their friends.

You apply to be a host for a party that interests you - a tv show premier, movie premier, food party etc...they have many different types of parties depending on the company who wants to get the word out about a new product.

You don't get selected to host every party you apply for; I have been fortunate to have been selected to host a Canon, Sargento, and Juicy Juice party. If selected as a host you'll receive practically everything you need to host a party via the House Party site and the party pack you'll receive. This can include products, coupons, and freebies to hand out to your party guests.

Last week I hosted a Juicy Juice party which coincided with the Mom's Club get-together at a park. This worked out perfectly for moms and kids to sample two new products from Juicy Juice - Immunity and Brain Development. We tried each of the products in Apple, Grape, and Berry.

See all the stuff I received in my party pack to make this a successful event? Even the table cloth, napkins and cups were included!

Each guest took home a coupon, growth chart, activity book, mini-deck of playing cards, BPA-free water bottle, and a reusable shopping tote!

I have one set of the "guest goodie bag" left over and I decided to offer it to a lucky reader! To enter just leave a comment and let me know if you've ever hosted a House Party event before (and make sure I have a way to contact you!)

~~~~~~
P.S. The winners of the free Haagen-Dazs coupons are: Izzy 'N Emmy, Journey To Motherhood, and non-blogger Kelly! Congrats!
Hm, I've never heard of this, but I'm intrigued. How nice would it be to have a party where things are given to the guests instead of trying to get them to buy things? Those are the only kind of parties we seem to have around here.
