Pillsbury "Home Is Calling" Giveaway

Here is something easy and simple we can all do to help fight hunger in our communities and across the country. Visit Pillsbury Home Is Calling and send the commercial to a friend. Every time the commercial is sent Pillsbury will send a donation to help Feeding America deliver more than 1 lb of groceries to food banks nationwide. How easy is that to help fight hunger?

The commercial will make you smile too as you see each individual "clicking their heels" wishing they were home. I know a lot of us can identify with not being "home" (near family) for the holidays, so this struck a chord with me.

I've always enjoyed Pillsbury's products - especially the Crescent rolls. They have so many recipes and different ways to use the Crescent rolls. I especially like the different creations and flavors you can make with the Pinwheels.

Not only is Pillsbury sharing the warmth this holiday season with helping stock America's food banks, but they're also sharing the "Home Is Calling" gift basket for 3 readers to win! This gift basket includes a coupon for a free Crescent rolls, a magnetic coupon holder, a house-shaped mouse pad, pot holders, a cookie sheet, a bread basket and a loveable Pillsbury Doughboy figurine.

If you would like a chance to win a gift basket then just go check out the Pillsbury products page and let me know what your favorite product is...or leave a comment on your favorite part of family meals.

The winners of the Norton PC Tune Up are: Renee, Nisa, and Ann R.

My favorite part of family meals is all the talking and sharing that we do. It's a real opportunity to catch up with each other.

I love the crescent rolls, but my real favorite are the cinnamon rolls.

Fun prize! :0)
We just had Grands Buttermilk biscuits last night with the chicken soup I'd made. After taking 2 hrs to make homemade broth and noodle soup, I was not in the mood to also whip up biscuits! The tube of buttermilk ones was the perfect complemenet to our meal. (I sound like a commercial, sheesh.)

My fav part of our family meal are the discussions. I have three teenage daughters and there are always interesting opinions/sharing that goes on. I know someday I will miss those teens and the great discussions we have as a family.
Happy Holidays!

What a nice thing to do. :)

And a nice giveaway too. My step daughter loves their crescent rolls. However, I think that you can't go wrong with their pie crusts. I can't roll out pie crust to save my life. LOL
